Commander Cosmo is a character created for my Three Dimensional Game Art I class. The class was given instructions on how to model the base character, however all props, textures, and animations were left to our discretion. I added a jetpack and a detachable knife to the design which helped me learn more modeling and animation techniques outside of the class's formal instruction. Cosmo was then thrown into a Unity sample scene where I programmed the movement, mapped the animations, and added a "jetpack hover" feature using a custom script.
